Vicky, a Senior Investment Manager, is Head of the Intermediary team in Glasgow, acting as discretionary fund manager for clients of independent financial advisors (IFAs). She has expertise in managing portfolios, offshore bonds, ISAs, and SIPPs for high-net worth clients. Vicky spearheaded the development of Glasgow’s IFA team as well as helping create overall strategy for the office as part of the Management Committee.
She began her career in 2000 as a trainee investment manager at Clydesdale Bank before moving to Deutsche Bank. Vicky left in 2008 to help set up Brown Shipley’s Scottish office in Edinburgh, becoming private client director before leaving for RBC Brewin Dolphin. She joined the Glasgow office in 2015.
Vicky is particularly proud of launching the Brown Shipley office during the financial cisis, which gave her the experience for her IFA and office strategy work at RBC Brewin. She is also a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.
