Sonal has been a Senior Business Manager for the Head of Intermediaries in the London office since 2022.
She works closely with the Head of Intermediaries and his ManCo in delivering the agreed growth strategy and key objectives for the channel.
This delivery is key for the future development and growth of RBC Brewin Dolphin’s wider wealth management service. Her role therefore includes the management and coordination of various operational and strategic projects and initiatives within the team, as well as supporting the investment managers and representing Intermediaries as required. It involves working with key stakeholders and across all business functions from Governance and Change to Legal, Finance and Marketing.
Sonal began her financial services career in 2005 as an Advisory Accountant in the M&A division for UBS. Most recently, she held the role of Head of Planning and Execution at Coutts, prior to this as Head of Business Intelligence at RBS. She joined Brewin Dolphin in 2020 as maternity cover for the Head of Strategic Operations Intermediaries role. She is an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualified accountant and an Ambassador for the organisation.
