Joy is a Chartered Investment Manager working with private clients, clients of intermediaries as well as trusts. Joy will aid those who are investing for the long-term; such as individuals looking to supplement their income in retirement or those who wish to use their portfolio as a ‘rainy day’ fund or to grow their wealth. She will tailor an investment solution for her clients or the clients of independent financial advisers and ensure this is implemented and managed accordingly, striving for the highest level of client service.
Joy is highly experienced at creating bespoke portfolios to meet individual financial goals and priorities such as ethical biases or specific income requirements. Her other area of expertise is working with Power of Attorney representing vulnerable people in care homes or other situations.
Joy helps these clients afford care home fees and manages their investments to ensure their wealth is protected and can grow to meet their individual circumstances, whilst supporting the client and the power of attorney as much as possible.
Joy is a level 7 certified member of the team, holding both the Investment Management Certification and the Wealth Managers Masters. She is also a chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. She began her financial services career in 2010 working for Allied Irish Bank before moving to the Duncan Lawrie Private Banking Investment Team in 2013. She joined RBC Brewin Dolphin’s London office in 2017 as an Investment Management Associate, moving to Winchester in 2019 as an Associate Portfolio Manager and a Chartered Investment Manager.
