Alan joined the RBC Brewin Dolphin Nottingham office in 2016 and is a Senior Financial Planner. He provides advice to both new and existing private clients in the East Midlands, including professionals such as lawyers and entrepreneurs. Alan specialises in investment/wealth structuring and retirement and inheritance tax planning. He also heads up the Growth Initiative for the region, focusing on strategy.
He started his career in financial services at a high street bank, before becoming an independent adviser at a couple of top accountancy firms. He then moved to Coutts Private Bank as a Wealth Manager. This has given him over 25 years of experience of providing financial advice.
Alan has successfully completed a level seven apprenticeship to become a Chartered Manager, securing an Executive MBA through Cranfield University in the process. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, a Chartered Wealth Manager and has a DipPFS.
