A daring team from wealth manager RBC Brewin Dolphin’s Edinburgh office recently abseiled down the city’s famous Forth Rail Bridge to raise money for Scottish charity, Harmeny Education Trust.
The five participants, Judith Henderson, Audrey Mackie, Jill Somerville, Abigail Housley and Joss Mitchell, raised £4,425 and not even the unseasonal summer rain could dampen their spirits, as they took on the 165ft drop.
Joss Mitchell, regional centre head (Scotland and Northern Ireland), RBC Brewin Dolphin, said: “It was an exhilarating experience for the team and one that we will always remember. It was made even more special by the fact that we were able to raise money for such a worthy cause as Harmeny Education Trust.”
Harmeny Education Trust, RBC Brewin Dolphin’s charity of the year for its Edinburgh office, provides therapeutic care and education to help children and young people overcome trauma and adversity, discover the joy of learning, and lead happy, fulfilling lives.
