Brewin Dolphin’s charity team has won the Charity Times’ Investment Management Award 2020.

Now in their 21st year, the Charity Times Awards attract hundreds of entries across the charities sector. The awards, which celebrate the best standards across the industry, are evaluated by an independent judging panel. The judges described Brewin Dolphin’s team as “a professional and experienced team who understand the wants and needs of the charity sector specifically”. They praised Brewin Dolphin’s charities team for “their ability to understand the individual needs of particular charities, rather than the sector as a whole”.

Commenting on the win, Ruth Murphy said: “We are absolutely delighted to win the award this year. Not only did we win against strong competition, we were competing in the Covid-19 environment which was a time fraught with uncertainty for everyone. We believe that our ability to support our charity clients and adjust their income forecasts during the lockdown period, as well as the sheer resilience and strength of our business, played an important part in helping us win.”
