Accepting the award was senior investment manager John Moore
Brewin Dolphin’s Edinburgh office is celebrating after winning a Citywire Wealth Manager Regional Stars Award for the Scotland and North Ireland region. The award winners were announced at a prestigious ceremony in March at the Westminster Park Plaza in London. Brewin Dolphin won awards in five out of the total eight regions polled, taking home the most trophies.
The award win further endorses Brewin Dolphin’s intermediary offering, which is driven by 18 regionally-based business development managers, and, in Edinburgh, by a dedicated team of investment professionals who specifically service the IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) market. Brewin Dolphin’s Glasgow office was also a finalist at this year’s awards, showing the strength of the company’s intermediary service in Scotland.
Now in its seventh year, the Citywire Wealth Manager Regional Stars Awards are a reflection of adviser sentiment, as they are voted for by the IFA community and act as a platform for financial planners to rate discretionary firms on the quality of their service and investment proposition. IFAs ranked individual wealth management offices on four criteria: investment outcomes, client reporting, relationship management and efficiency of service. This year’s awards saw around 1,000 advisers across eight major UK regions vote for their favourite wealth managers.
Marc Wilkinson, Regional Director for Scotland and the North, Brewin Dolphin, said: “We are very proud to have won this award as it shows the level of trust and satisfaction that our local IFA clients have in us to provide their clients with high-quality investment expertise. In these times of uncertainty, we are seeing an increased need for expert and innovative solutions to meet people’s varied financial needs.
“This award is really a reflection of all of our Scottish offices’ hard work and dedication to our local advisers and their clients.”
