Paul joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2019 and is a wealth director. He provides financial planning advice to financially complex clients, primarily entrepreneurial private clients. This involves guiding many of them through business exits and the financial challenges and opportunities they face going forward.
He is proud of developing a structural financial planning model which identifies clients’ future needs such as investing in new businesses, buying cars or property, putting money into trusts or giving to charity. He believes investing is crucial, but planning has to come first. Paul finds clients through law, accountancy and corporate finance contacts, as well as by hosting entrepreneurial events.
Before RBC Brewin Dolphin Paul worked with Kleinwort Hambros for fifteen years, latterly as Head of Entrepreneurs. Prior to Kleinwort he worked at Mercer, a global consulting firm, where he provided wealth management advice to senior executives of the UK’s largest companies. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
