Wilson manages multi-asset-class portfolios for private clients and helps intermediaries with their customers’ portfolios. He also offers specialist advice on the unique requirements of partners – from clients who have just accepted a partnership to senior partners contemplating retirement.
Wilson heads up one of the Glasgow office’s two Private Client teams, ensuring portfolios are managed in line with the asset allocation strategy and risk tolerance that’s been decided by each client.
He began his financial services career in 1990 as an Estate Planning Manager & Portfolio Manager at Clydesdale Bank before becoming an Investment Manager at Adam & Company in 2006. He moved to RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2011, becoming a Divisional Director in 2018. Wilson is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is the Vice-Chair of the West of Scotland Deaf Children’s Society.
