Sue joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2019 and is an Investment Manager in the Shrewsbury office. She constructs and manages the portfolios of a range of private clients. These are predominately individuals but also some charities and trusts.
She is the lead for the sustainability and ESG (environmental, social and governance) investment strategies in the office. This involves engaging with clients, intermediaries and fellow colleagues both face to face and via webinars to communicate the Group’s proposition in this area.
She has always been fascinated by the world of investing, with stock prices still being the first thing she checks every morning. Sue began her financial services career in 1986 as a Bond Trader at Credit Suisse First Boston. She has also worked for other blue chips such as JP Morgan and UBS. She has the Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice and Management, the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
