Michael is a Divisional Director, leading one of our four London cohorts and is a member of the executive management team in London. Although he is responsible for three teams, comprised of investment managers and financial planners, Michael is still heavily client-focused and he has a hands-on role in advising private clients on the management of their investments and wealth. As part of this he works closely with his clients’ trusted advisers, such as IFAs, solicitors and accountants.
Michael began his financial services career in 1994, in investment banking, and then moved into wealth management at Cheviot Capital in 2001. In 2005, Michael joined RBC Brewin Dolphin. He is proud of helping to build the Wealth Management team over that time and of the close relationships he has developed with generations of families. As a BSc degree holder in Agricultural Economics, he has a particular expertise in understanding the financial needs of farmers and rural entrepreneurs. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
